RDS Connected Command is the app for volunteer fire brigades

The Rosenbauer Connected Command app supports fire services and other blue-light organisations in the field with alerting, situation management, organisation and communication.


Detailed information for every operation

An alarm event is created automatically (Premium) for each deployment and sent as a critical message to the required emergency services.
Clear operation details including alarmed fire stations, type of operation, address/coordinates, map and navigation (via Google Maps and Apple Maps)
Feedback options: Confirmation, cancellation and delay with indication of minutes for reliable resource planning
Automatic or manual sharing of your own location with positive feedback for better operational coordination
Access to further detailed information such as documents, images, etc.

All members have skills. All operations require task forces with specific skills. RDS Connected Command supports you in match-making these resources.

Chats for every purpose

In addition to automatically generated alarm and event chats, any number of individual and group chats can be created for any purpose.

Map with POIs, vehicles, devices and emergency services

The map shows all POIs, vehicles, equipment and colleagues at the fire station.

Most of the functionalities of the RDS Connected Command app are available to you free of charge. This means you can use the app for private use and easily test it for your operational organization. If you decide to upgrade to the premium version, we offer you a wealth of attractive additional functionalities at a fair price.

Connected Command Web Administration

In the Connected Command Web Administration, you can manage your members, assign skills, assign rights, create and maintain POIs and organize groups. You also have access to our service platform, where you can send us feedback and questions.

FAQs

What does the app cost?

The basic version is free of charge. The premium version of the app currently costs €12 per account per year. In addition, a one-off set-up fee of €390 is payable. Billing always takes place at the beginning of a contract year. Prices excl. VAT (prices may vary depending on region)

Are there any other ongoing or hidden costs?

No, there are no additional costs hidden here, such as costs per alarm. These are all covered by the license price.

Can I test the app?

Yes, the basic version can be downloaded and used at any time from the app stores. The basic functionalities are fully available to you. Alarms can also be created manually here

Do I need to know the exact number of licenses for my fire department?

No, the available license budget can be extended at any time as required, or reduced again on the main due date.

Is there an interface to the LFK (Austria)?

Upper Austria – Yes, it can be easily set up Lower Austria – Yes, but not yet ELKOS. Can individual groups in an organization be alerted?

Yes, Connected Command Web Administration can be used to create individual groups, which can then also be selected in the app for manual alarms. For automated alarm reception (interface) of individual subgroups, it depends on the respective interface whether a link can be realized.

Is SMS dispatch offered as a failure level?

No, not currently offered

Is it possible to store and display fire protection plans?

Yes, this is possible without restriction and the BSP can be assigned to an object (point of interest). This includes PDF plans. In addition, image information (JPG) can be linked to objects and displayed.

Can you transfer hydrants from "Water map"?

This is currently possible with the old Mobile Administration, and will also be possible with Connected Command Web Administration in the future.

The functions are extensive. Can I restrict these for individual comrades?

Yes, in the premium version, rights can be configured for individuals and groups using the Connected Command Web Administration.

Can I synchronize the appointments in the app with an external calendar?

Currently no. However, further development in this direction is currently being examined

How long will EMEREC Mobile be available as a predecessor?

EMEREC Mobile will be removed from the app stores at the end of 2023. The communication services will continue to run until the end of March 2024.

How secure is the app?

The backend of the Connected Command app runs on a server in the European Union (Microsoft Azure Cloud). The server infrastructure complies with the ISO27001 standard. In addition, regular security checks and penetration tests are carried out to ensure the secure application for emergency organizations. The transmission of messages is also end-to-end encrypted.
