Update - Connected Fleet

What's new

Checklists

Testing procedures, whether regularly recurring or on an ad-hoc basis, are part of the everyday work of many emergency services. Often still documented on paper, Connected Fleet now offers the possibility of processing checklists digitally.

Creating own templates allows users to switch to the new way of working relatively quickly.

After checklists could only be processed in the mobile apps (Android/iOS), which are no longer available, the feature is now available again in a first basic version in the web application and will be continuously developed further.

Checklist templates

Each organization can create its own templates. The grouping of questions offers the possibility to bring more clarity in to complex checklists.

Different answer types such as single-choice, multiple-choice and free text allow very individual templates to be implemented.

With the additional option of storing validation information for answers, you can see at a glance after a checklist was submitted whether the answers meet expectations or not.

Planned or recurring checks

In the case of event-related checklists, so-called ‘on-demand’ checklist templates can be created in Fleet.

Often, however, there are also recurring checks such as a daily vehicle inspection. These can be added automatically to a list of open checklists. Different periods and the possibility to set a due date offer options for a detailed planning of checks.

User interface improvements

In addition to the new feature of checklists in the web application, there were also a number of smaller improvements in the background, as well as in the user interface.

Among other things, it is now possible to set how many elements should be displayed per page in table views.
This offers more overview and a more comfortable use especially with longer lists.
